Game of Wool - crochet edition (week 1)

Did you watch the new Game of Wool show last Sunday on Channel 4? If you did, you would know that one of the task the contestants had to do was to knit a tank top using fair isle knitting style.

I decided to create my own version but using crochet, not knitting.

Like the contestants in the game show, I used chunky yarn, and I designed my own fair isle pattern using a waistcoat stitch.

I do not get to have 12 hours in one sitting to crochet (also that may be quite painful) but I did time myself and it took me 10 hours and 15 minutes to complete my top including sewing in all the ends and adding a bit of embroidery - my own little ball of wool :)

Looking forward to next episode to find out what the knitters are going to make and to see if I could replicate it using crochet.
